Blind Flame

Please forgive the poor scan...

This is miss Yami Schneider, the fire elemental hero of Of Fire and Ice, seen usually with her icy twin, Ardon. At the end of the story, the plan is for her to be blasted by lightning and go blind. Because the wound is cauterized by the very lightning that caused the wound, she is unable to heal even when resurrected. She spends the rest of her life blind, using her aura to 'see'...very sad. And yet she manages to be a programmer anyway. That's Yami's indomitable spirit for ya. ^_^
