As she stared at Aria's long vacant body, Jane felt just as empty. Murderer though Jane was, she'd promised to protect Aria....and she had failed. Aria's parents had apparently had some sort of drunken brawl, and their own daughter fell victim to their misdirected anger. Memories flashed through Jane's mind...Her own parents' drunken arguments and outbursts, her brother Johnny protecting her relentlessly, up to the point of killing both their parents. Aria was an only child, the one person willing and able to protect her was Jane...and Jane hadn't been there when Aria needed her. Tears streamed down the woman's face. Suddenly her head snapped up at the sound of a door creaking open. The agony in her eyes fell to solid rage. Enough mourning. Time for revenge...
((JANE RETURNS!!! Finally some more art of my beloved JTHM oc, Jane C. I'm unsure if this will actually occur in her story, but it might. You see, Aria is her version of Squee. A helpless little girl with abusive parents who are drunk more often than sober, Aria is in need of a savior and a role model, and Jane takes it upon herself to be both. If this ending comes to be, I think it will be Jane's undoing.))
